New Year, New Marimekko Pattern

It’s hard to believe that we’re already three days into 2014. I’m not big on New Year’s resolutions, but one new Marimekko pattern is a good source of inspiration for taking on the new year. Onnea Etsimässä, designed by Maija Louekari, means “looking for happiness.” It’s a subdued graphical pattern that describes people’s desire to discover something good and beautiful in the surrounding world. How fitting is that to start off 2014? Own a piece of this pattern in your own home to serve as a daily reminder to look for the positive things in life!
