Anu Pentik, a renowned Finnish designer and artist, has left a lasting mark on the world of design with her unique creations and commitment to her craft. Born on May 20, 1942 in Southern Finland, Anu would soon change the face of Finnish design through her artistic journey.

Anu’s path towards design became evident as she was teaching ceramics at the local adult college, while also selling her own clay items at a local gas station. In 1971, Anu founded her eponymous company, Pentik, which would go on to become a prominent brand in the field of ceramic and home interior design. Her work quickly gained recognition, earning her a loyal customer base.
As Pentik’s designs gained popularity, the company experienced rapid growth.
