Simone Marchetti is no stranger to the street style blog circuit. His daring and vibrant style is a magnet for street style photographers including The Sartorialist. Just do a ‘Google’ search of his name and a bevy of images will pop up. Of course, his keen sense of style probably has something to do with his role as a fashion journalist for Repubblica.it and La Repubblica in Italy. It was no surprise to me when I found several snapshots of him proudly donning Marimekko trousers. After all, he is known as the ‘King of Prints.’ As loud as the pants are, he does a remarkable job of balancing the bold prints with solid-colored tops. And even more importantly, his pants are highly tailored!

Simone definitely stands out with this Marimekko Lumimarja look. I love how everything fits him so precisely. Although it’s bold and bright, it’s not over the top.

Simone looks summery and sophisticated with the Marimekko Bottna pattern. This is actually one of my favorite Marimekko looks of his.

I love how he paired a blazer with these Marimekko Räsymatto print trousers. It’s refined, yet fun. If you’re not ready to go this bold, find a plethora of Marimekko items in this pattern here.
